Minnesota Houseboat Rental
We offer Minnesota houseboat vacations in Voyageurs National Park. The park consists of five major lakes, Kabetogama, Namakan, Sand Point, Crane and Rainy Lake. Kettle Falls links us to the eastern portion of Rainy Lake via small boat portage. The Voyageurs National Park is 1/3 water based and has over 219,000 acres and no roads. We are based on the beautiful Ash River which is the central entrance to the park.
Wildlife is abundant in Voyageurs…deer, moose, otters, bald eagles, black bear and white pelicans are few examples. This makes Voyageurs National Park a great area for the photo enthusiasts.
Fill your vacation days with fishing, swimming, bird watching, and berry picking. Unless, of course, you would rather just enjoy relaxing as you float along.
Our season begins with the fishing opener and ends with the rainbow of fall colors.
Please note that all deposits are non-refundable. There is a 3 night minimum on all houseboat rentals.
We offer a 20% discount May-June 17 and beginning September 1.
We have several sizes of houseboats from the ultra modern to very basic. Standard features include carpeting, oven/stoves, hot & cold running water, showers, marine toilets and swim slides just to name a few. The newest houseboats in our fleet offer air conditioning, DVD players, hot tubs and multiple bathrooms.
Our houseboats were created to be operated by novice boaters. We will instruct each guest with operation, navigation and emergencies. Our knowledgeable and helpful staff will prepare you and answer all of your questions. While on board there are no schedules or deadlines to worry about until your boat is due to return.
We recommend at least two able-bodied people for mooring the houseboat and on larger boats (Vista’s and 65′ Series), more than two able-bodied people. You must be able to walk on uneven ground, going from the houseboat to shoreline.
